New cult British brand Dr.PAWPAW appointed Catalyst in the latter stages of 2013, to raise awareness of their products in the consumer, national and trade media, as well as assisting with nationwide distribution. Multi-purpose balms formulated with extract of Papaya, were a product in high-demand from celebrities and make-up-artists, yet before Dr.PAWPAW these were not available to purchase in the UK.
A strategic marketing, distribution and PR campaign was undertaken by the team at Catalyst, which has resulted in some impressive magazine and newspaper placements, along with the products now being available in numerous stockists including Harvey Nichols, Urban Outfitters and Lloyd’s Pharmacy to name a few!
When focusing on the distribution side of the brand, our business development team made it their aim to get the products into the hands of key beauty buyers within the industry.
They continually sent across coverage which we were already acquiring, showing them the undeniable gap in the market and high demand for the products. Now Dr.PAWPAW balms are available in over 1,200 stores across the UK and Ireland.
Along with general PR and distribution services, Catalyst have gone above and beyond, by working on the brands advertising and trade show stands, including Professional Beauty and Olympia Beauty, to get Dr.PAWPAW known within the professional side of the industry.
In the space of just one year, Dr.PAWPAW has launched two new versions of the best-selling balm, Dr.PAWPAW Tinted Peach Pink and Dr.PAWPAW Tinted Ultimate Red. Catalyst heavily assisted with the launches of the two new balms, strategically placing them within consumer magazines to coincidewith the launch days, which resulted in a huge increase in sales.
