Once again, we have had a super week at Catalyst PR where it comes to coverage. It of course helps that we have some amazing hair, beauty and lifestyle brands to work with! A whole lot of client love!

This week’s coverage has been second-to-none with the likes of Star, Woman & Home, Asian Bride, Sugarscape, Female First, Prima and Daily Mirror being just a few of the amazing print and online publications our clients have appeared in!

Argan infused hair brand Agadir proves it’s bigger than ever, making it to the final three in the Voluminous Hair category of Asian Brides Beauty Awards – tested vigorously by the Asian Bride team, we say that’s pretty darn good, ey? Another client being tried and tested to within an inch of its little yellow life is Dr.PAWPAW Original Balm. Tested by the fabulous team at Star Magazine, Dr.PAWPAW came out with a great review and was the most inexpensive on the page for Multi-Purpose Balms!

Another multi-purpose wonder, Uniq One, proves to be one of the best time-saving products, making it onto Female First’s ‘Multi-use hair sprays that will streamline your beauty products’ page where it states that ‘Once you start using this product, you’ll be sorry you never started sooner’.

Marine skincare brand Phytomer’s luxurious Pioneer XMF Youth Revealing Facial was featured in Woman&Home this month, after the beauty editor headed to St Malo in the Summer, to visit the brand’s place of creation.

All of this in just one week, we hear you ask? Erm… YES and we can’t wait to see what the postman brings us next week!

Catalyst recap on Olympia Beauty 2014

This years at Olympia Beauty, we celebrated their 10th anniversary and their biggest and best show to date. At Catalyst, were so proud to look after all of the PR for this amazing event and delighted to see it be such a success. 22,187 of the industry’s finest came to learn the next big thing in beauty. We saw a 6% increase in the attendance of owners, managers and decision makers visit us. Over 520 brands exhibited and the show played host to 90 new brands launched!  This shows us just how important Olympia Beauty is to the beauty industry and reinforces its mission to be the UK’s finest Autumn Trade Beauty Show.

New additions to this years Olympia Beauty Calendar included “The Big Reveals from the Big Brands”, giving brands a unique platform to launch their new products to influential media, distributors and visitors. Visitors saw brand new launched from big brands such as Dermalogica, Elemis, OPI, Jessica, Sienna x and Jane Iredale, to name just a few! The Press Treatment Zone was added on the event to give press members a chance to enjoy an exclusive mix of treatment and interact with representatives from the brands.

Of course, we can’t forget the three thrilling competitions that also took place at Olympia Beauty 2014; Nailympia London, The Art of Make-up and The Art of Body Painting. The infamous Nailympia London saw 654 competitors from 32 countries – the worlds largest nail competition with special guest judges including British fashion designer Gareth Pugh and world renowned nail stylist, Marian Newman.

Our very own clients were on show there too, and people were raving about the entrance to our All that Jazz Area!

Launched in 2014 was the Advanced Beauty Conference hosted by Cosmedic Coach, Antonia Mariconda, and panel discussions from the All Women Of Colour Campaign hosted by Eryca Freemantle.

Over 67 brands have already confirmed their presence for 2015; a record sign up and with the huge launches planned for 2015 – including the Beauty Blogger Awards, Conference and Exhibition – we are already working hard to make Olympia Beauty bigger and better than ever.
