Focused PR Outreach
Globally October is recognised as Breast Cancer Awareness month. We had good knowledge of the UK press and their attitude towards the great cause during this time. In order to make sure LGFB brushes were included in as many Breast Cancer Awareness pieces as possible we implemented a huge focussed PR outreach. Starting from August 2017, we were in constant contact with national and consumer press to secure placements in as many features as possible, the more coverage we were able to acquire would result in more people seeing and purchasing the brand. This would lead to a rise in contributions to the charity. We successfully secured placements in leading National Supplements including Notebook, S Magazine and Fabulous Magazine. We secured over 25+ pieces of print coverage and the PR outreach reached close to 10 million.
Catalyst PR were appointed to look after the UK PR and social media for Look Good Feel Better Brushes in July 2016. The collection of cruelty free, professional quality makeup tools work to boost confidence and Bespoke Europe donate between 8-12% of each brush sold to the Look Good Feel Better charity.In August 2017 planning started to make sure LGFB brushes were promoted as much as possible during Breast Cancer Awareness and during the Christmas period,to boost sales and in turn raise funds for the great cause.
Beauty Advent Calendar Placement
To increase the momentum of sales over the Christmas and gifting period, Catalyst presented LGFB Brushes with the opportunity to be featured in the Latest in Beauty YOU Magazine Advent Calendar. It was decided that the Angled Blending Blush would feature in the Advent Beauty Calendar. With an impressive marketing package provided by Latest in Beauty and YOU Magazine the campaign was a huge success. The total campaign reach was over 7 million and media was valued at £75,000. The response not only from the direct partners but from the general public and beauty communities was huge, the support ensured that the calendar was in every advent round up and was one of the most talked about beauty buys of 2017.
