Models strutted down the catwalk in the designs of the Croydon college fashion students and with the hair styling of Seanhanna Croydon. Inspired by the Prada spring summer catwalk, the team at Seanhanna Croydon gave the 18 models edgy pigtails and ensured they were ready to take the stage by storm throughout the day.

The brief was to come up with a new site that offered everything the old site did in terms of content but with a cleaner, easier to use nav and new design.
23 April 2010: The Metropolis team styles for fashion designer at Alternative fashion week
Metropolis and his Artistic team was requested by latex designer, Lady Lucie to style the model’s hair for the Alternative Fashion Week, held at Spitafields Market. “My inspiration for this look was influenced by the theatrical glamour of 1940’s circus performers,” says Robert Masciave from Metropolis Hairdressing. “I looked back in the past to create a futuristic hair trend and came up with the over sized chignon with gravity defying coloured rolled quiffs to match the trimming on the model’s outfit set off with long flexible sticks pinned in at the back to reflect the vertical axis a tight roper uses to create a bit of drama on the catwalk.”
