Winners of ‘Best Salon of the Year’, Metropolis based in Kingston are a unique hair salon, renowned for their creative and artistic stage work. Metropolis were nominated for the 2007 BHA Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year category and are Revlon Professional ambassadors.
22 July 2010: Style Masters Launch
The UK and Irish sales team gathered in Mayfair, in the heart of London’s fashion and couture designer studio’s and galleries.
The Westbury Hotel played host to an exciting action packed launch. Led by Colomer’s Miguel Angel Lopez the team were focused and impressed with Miguel’s passion for the brand. The afternoon session was buzzing as UK and Irish Style Master Robert Masciave of Metropolis Salon, London presented two stunning models.
The group were impressed with Robert’s authentic and creative styling all the while utilising and explaining the benefits of the new range. ‘It was exciting to be part of the Style Masters launch of this prestigious range, and I enjoyed the afternoon very much’.

2 March 2010: Metropolis Hairdressing/Catalyst Consultancy host Party
As most of you will probably will know by now, our client, Metropolis Hairdressing in Kingston Upon Thames recently won the coveted ‘Individual Salon of the Year’ award at the Fellowship for British Hairdressing Awards Luncheon – simply its a huge accolade.
Catalyst Consultancy and Metropolis held a meeting at the end of December to discuss how we would make the most of this achievement. So far a number of projects have been put into action.
Firstly last month a window display was put up in the Metropolis Salon windows to ’shout out’ about our win. Catalyst helped Robert Mascaive, salon owner, find the company who create these window vinyls.
Our next action was to host a number of parties in 2010 to thank Metropolis clients for their on going support. As part of this party we asked each attendee to bring someone who has never been to the salon before so that more clients could be introduced to the salon.
The party also contained a small presenation by Robert Masciave and his team, delcious Italian canapes and lots of free flowing Prosseco. All who attended were treated to an amazing goody bag worth £30 containing Revlon Professional and Black and White Wax products.

27 January 2010: Kingston Salon wins Best Individual Salon of the Year
Metropolis Hairdressing, Kingston Upon Thames won the highly coveted Fellowship for British Hairdressing “Best Individual Salon of the Year” Award 2009 and salon owner Robert Masciave received Fellow with Honours at the annual Fellowship Luncheon, Dorchester Hotel.
“It is an honour to have achieved this award. The Fellowship’s motto “strength through quality” is everything we at Metropolis stand for” says Robert Masciave.
